I have been a boater most of my adult life. My first slipped boat was a Santana 30 purchased in 1979 and ownership has been a part of my life since then. Due to a chance meeting with a friend, I learned about the opportunities in the boating industry and that led to a new exciting career in yacht sales in 2000 working with Tom and Brendan. I had actually known Brendan since 1986 when I bought a new Catalina 36 from him!
My first priority is to determine your boating wants and needs. I will take the time and effort necessary to find the best boat for you. I will use my experience as a boat owner and knowledge of the current market to be sure you get the best value in the boat you select. Gil is an experienced and knowledgeable yachtsman with a broad understanding of yachts, being an owner himself for many years. Following a career in the auto parts business and as an owner/driver of a competitive off-road racing team, Gil went to sea! As a Captain for many years aboard some of the finest yachts, his knowledge of vessel operations and management assist in finding the right yacht for his clients. Continuous education keeps him abreast of what is currently available to provide the best guidance possible.
Being a third generation boater and a second generation yacht salesman, it goes without saying that boating is in my blood! I grew up on the docks of San Diego watching my father introduce so many to the joy of boating while also spending many years experiencing the adventure of it for myself in British Columbia. Having spent the first 8 years of my career on the service side of the industry, I learned what it looked like to serve others and upkeep their investment. These experiences have molded a passion in me to share my lifetime of memories and help others create similar ones for themselves.
